TO BE READ IN THE MORNING
In everything I do, I will try not to show excessive euphoria; Nor excessive discouragement; Nor affliction; nor despair; If I get tired, I won’t give up; I will not be speechless when I need to make my speech heard; I will not close my ears if they need me to hear them; I will not go out of my way before I finish my journey; My hand will always be ready to receive another hand.
PSALM 141: 1 – Lord, I call to you; hurry to help me. Hear my voice when I cry out to you.
TO BE READ DURING THE DAY
Even if the work is hard for me, I will make it perfect; I will not give in to temptations that can get me out of my way; I will be upright; I will honor my family; I will be an example of decency; I will respect the rights of others; I will not exceed mine; I will not say what I would not like to hear; Today, I will delight in peace.
PSALM 60:11 – Give us help against the enemy, for man’s help is in vain.
TO BE READ BEFORE SLEEPING
I left all the annoyances behind me and will sleep a calm and peaceful sleep; The peace I experienced will be the safe conduit for my perfect night; On this day I tried to be fair and sincere; If I did not succeed, I will repent myself tomorrow with the help of the Lord; Tonight I can sleep in peace with my conscience.
PSALM 2:11 – Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
